goals. goals. goals.

The beginning of each year I set some pretty scary goals. I always have high HOPES of hitting them, but never 100% sure if I will actually do them. I love setting goals. I put them up all over, make them the back round of my computer so I see them everyday. I set personal goals, business goals, family goals all different kinds. So I have checked in recently to see how I am on track to hit them. Some of them I won't hit, some of them I hit but not when I said I would.. does it matter?? HECK NO! I am working on crossing them ALL OFF!!!

Do you set goals? Make dream boards? Do you know EXACTLY what you want your life to look like?

If you don't have a road map.. you won't get there.. go to oprah.com/dreamboards and make one!! i promise it will be worth it!!

Make sure your goals are S.M.A.R.T. goals..
S- specific.. make it as specific as you can
M- measurable.. put a scale to it.. don't make it too big that you can't measure your progress
A- attainable.. something you can actually do, little outside your comfort zone
R- realistic.. come on you won't loose 50lbs or be a millionaire in a month.. keep it real
T- time-able.. PUT A DATE ON IT! most important part.. goals without dates are just dreams!

NEWWWWWW CARRRRR!

So the week before I went to California for beachbody's leadership event, we were car shopping. Then the day before I was leaving my wonderful husband took it upon himself to go car shopping for the whole day, while I needed to get ready to go away the next morning. With still having to get my nails done & run to the mall. I was stressing out the ENTIRE day that he was gone. I know he was doing a nice thing but I had 9,000,000 things to do, including clean the house, finish the laundry and pack myself and the kids to go away for 5 days. So he decides to come home at 6pm. leaving me 3 hours to get my nails done and run to the mall. PERFECT. so of course I had a breakdown and was crying from all the stress.

Needless to say I got everything done.. didn't sleep but got everything done. Off to California I went. Had an amazing time.. Jose picked me up from the airport with this new beauty!!!! I was SOOOOOOO SURPRISED!!! I have never been surprised like that ever! I couldn't believe he pulled it off all while I was away!

Thank you to team beachbody for giving me the opportunity to take on a car payment and quit my full time job at the same time!! Its the little things in life, like a working, safe car that make all the sleepless nights worth it!!!

Beachbody's Leadership Event

I was SOOOOOOO excited to spend a weekend with the top team beachbody coaches! It was the best experience to just sit and chat and connect with all the coaches! I was able to attend this event 2 years in a row in Dana Point, California. It was such a beautiful hotel (marriot at dana point). We had amazing events, speakers and parties. But the best part of the whole trip is connecting with my team. This year we were able to have 36 from our Bombshell Dynasty Team. The year before we only had 8. We got to test out Beachbody's brand new workout #21fix that comes out in February 2014! Here are some pictures from that weekend.

As i snapped a pic of them both sleeping.. I was going to write something about getting a power hour of cleaning in.. Which i am going to do.. 

But then it hit me. We are home, with no where to rush to. They get to take naps in their house, not while in the car rushing and running to work.. I knew that leaving the salon was going to be different but i didnt think about little things like this. What a blessing this is turning out to be. To be able to earn a living while I am home and my babies get to nap here. I could cry just thinking about our new life!!

Im sorry for everyone who is NOT involved with a network marketing company. I know you may have a bad taste in your mouth about it or say that I drank the "kool aid" but as a woman who has worked her butt off for the last 10 years and carting my kids around with me, to now be able to be home with them and make MORE then my husbands nypd salary.. Its LIFE CHANGING!!

Hello New Beginnings...

So sorry I haven't been blogging the past few weeks... I was busy selling my hair salon!! And I am happy to say I am officially free!! It had been my goal this year to sell my salon so I could focus on my family and beachbody coaching, and it is DONE! I fired myself on September 1st. It happened so fast, I totally wasn't ready to let go, but it was the perfect set up so I couldn't say no.

Sometimes you have to let go of something to be able to reach for the next thing. Goodbye full time job! Hello FREEDOM!
